The pillars of paleo crumbling down? Let's not forget the end results!

There has been a lot of discussion online recently about the scientific basis behind the paleo diet.

Apparently low-carb diets don't cause weight loss because of insulin, excessive Omega-6 fatty acids don't contribute to obesity, and many former paleo proponents have started consuming dairy and grains.

To quote one of the popular (former) paleo advocates Melissa McEwen:
Frankly the popular "paleo diet" concept is based on a lot of scientific garbage and I advocate a more nuanced and scientific approach towards eating.
